revelstoke

I must admit although Finlee travels like a champ I was nervous about the 15 hour drive but she did so well [ despite spilling an entire juice box on herself and part of a small coffee on me during the drive ] - note to self - keep a change of clothes handy to avoid bare legs in -20 weather...

first pit stop on our way out at the thue residence + auntie lisa's current address - early am cheerio snacks on the rug by the fire...

the view from the house in revy was most stunning in the twilight hours - i honestly didn't photograph a lot of the stuff we did on this trip [ boarding & touring the quaint little town ] ... i found this week to be more about recharging the old batteries & spending time with fam then snapping pics ...but moments like these i just had to dash out with my camera for a few snaps

our little frowner - she started this face about a month ago - its so funny cuz she actually isn't mad ... i think shes just deep in thought about how she wound up with such a nutty mother ;)

more of that view --

& so much white - It almost constantly snowed while we were there - we had never seen or snowboarded on such incredible snow

finn's 'boggan was a hit & she took a couple trips down to the town with nana & cousin jenny while lee & i hit the slopes ...

this girl loves her nana - special days spent at the cabin with her & papa will [ tending a broken foot] having naps & overall cuddles... i might have to frame this one...

loovvvee's hotels ...lucky us... wish i would have got a pic of her pretending to talk on the remote as her phone [ already picking up on the darndest things ]

through the window snap of "downtown"revy ... recommend the modern the modern bakeshop & cafe - the most delicious homemande soups, breads + coffee ... the bookshop next door + there was a really neat little yarn shop that was closed the holiday week ..boo

we had to cross the tracks by the train station to get up the hill to our place & as much as the boys complained about it blocking the road ... i thought it was the prettiest sight...

more moody trees on the drive to fairmont where we spent new years with some other friends...

HNY Folks - can't wait to tackle the rest of what this year holds for us .. so many exciting ventures on the horizon - my goal for this year is to only say yes to the things i truly can do great .... saying 'no' to mediocrity or the things that are a drain on the top priorities ...cuz life's to short ...  - cheers to you & a great year ahead!
